So you are about to start a clothing line, an ecommerce store, or the next best podcast.  Not to be doubted, you are equipped with positive energy and are determined to break through.  There is no information that makes you negative about what you are about to embark on.  And why should you -  we live in an age of market fertility.  You spend all this time thinking about and acting on your eventual finished product.  And then it’s time to get the word out.

 

In my opinion, this is the moment when getting a consultant to kick start your marketing plan is most valuable.  The reason is you haven’t gone deep enough as to where major updates and modifications become not only emotional but costly.  Sure, web and marketing consultants come in all shapes and sizes but there is something that’s a strong standard and that's the line between proposing a rewrite or an update.  The former is always an easy suggestion because it entails starting fresh and temporary relief.  Furthermore, it's likely to come at a higher cost and time to deliver.  The usual assumption is this must solve the root problem, right?

 

It is possible to have a superstar experience but in the real world it’s normal for things to go a little different.  It’s an initiative of mine to empower customers with the true impact of what is being delivered.  Only then will the skillset of the marketing consult be maximized.  My advice is to stop trying to do it all yourself, get some feedback, allow for an assessment, and open the doors for brainstorming.
